TEAM FORD RACING SUN CITY 400 REPORT

The Team Ford Racing crew left the Sun City 400 with mixed emotions. Teenager and national racing newcomer Lance Woolridge took his second Class E victory of the year with Ward Huxtable calling the notes. The pair now lead Class E championship and are proving a dominant combination despite their newcomer status. Read more

TOYOTA HILUX EXTENDS ITS LEAD IN OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP

A solid performance by the Castrol Team Toyota Hilux of Duncan Vos and Rob Howie as well as charges by a brace of privateer Hilux SPs further extended Toyota’s lead in the Manufacturers’ Championship in the ABSA Off Road Championship. With four of the eight events now completed Toyota’s lead is backed up by first and second places in the Driver’s championship as well. Read more

Saturday 17 July – The two extremely competitive senior classes of the 2010 World of Accessories (WOA) Junior National Off-road Motorcycle and Quad Championships, the Open Bike Class and Open Quad Class, delivered new winners at the recent RORMC Junior National, the fourth round of the 2010 season that was held in the Naboomspruit area in the Limpopo Province. Battle resumes in the ABSA South African Off-Road Championship with the staging of the Sun City 400 on the 16th and 17th July after a lengthy layoff to accommodate the soccer World Cup. With three events run out of the eight in the series Toyota leads the Manufacturers’ Championship with 250 points to the 87 of second placed Ford.
